✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be eligible to apply for the MSO post:

  • Be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
  • Have a sound moral character.
  • Be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of the island.
  • Must have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) with at least 6 subjects including Mathematics, Sinhala/Tamil, and English in not more than two sittings.
  • Should have passed at least one subject (excluding General English) at the G.C.E. (A/L).
  • Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years as of the closing date (June 30, 2025).

📚Examination Structure

The exam will consist of the following papers:

  • 1. Language Proficiency (Sinhala/Tamil/English) – 100 Marks
  • 2. Mathematics and Logical Reasoning – 100 Marks
  • 3. General Knowledge & IQ – 100 Marks

All papers are of the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type. A minimum of 40% in each paper is required to qualify.
