Admission of Students to the Advanced Technological Institutes for the Academic Year 2025

Applications are called for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes conducted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) from those who have successfully completed the G.C.E.(A/L) Examination in 2024 or preceding years. The applying process for the HND programmes of SLIATE should be done only via apply.sliate.ac.lk

When applying for Advanced Technological Institutes and HND Programs, it is advisable for candidates to apply to the Advanced Technological Institutes nearest to their place of residence.

The Gazette notice and Admission guideline are available with the online application.

Part-Time programme fees per semester are as follows. 

  • Higher National Diploma in Accountancy – HNDA Rs.17,000/= 
  • Higher National Diploma in English –HND in English Rs.17,000/= 
  • Higher National Diploma in Information Technology – HNDIT Rs.30,000/= 
  • Higher National Diploma in Project Management – HNDPM Rs.20,000/= 
  • Refundable Deposit for a Part-time programme Rs.10,000/=
